The Bridgeport Youth Olympics (BYO) is a program introduced through the 4th & 5th grade Physical Education classes in Bridgeport’s 18 elementary schools. This is the beginning of our feeder program for the 6th through 8th grade Track & Field/Cross Country programs which in turn is a feeder program for our high school programs.
The BYO will be held at Central High School’s Kennedy Stadium Saturday June 22, 2013. A contribution of $250 covers the cost of one event. Your company name/logo on back of shirts. A contribution of $2,500 covers the cost of the entire meet. Your company name/logo on front of shirts.
The events at the BYO meet needing sponsorship are:
✔ 4 X 200 Relay ✔ Standing Broad Jump
✔ Mile Run ✔ Cannon Ball Toss (medicine ball)
✔ Shuttle Run ✔ Softball Throw
✔ 100 Meter Dash
Prizes:
– Mayor’s Cup Trophy for winning school
– T-shirts for ALL qualifiers
– Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for all events (male and female)
– With your help, each winner will receive an embroidered windbreaker
