A great time was had on Friday night, April 26th at Central H.S. for the 4th Bridgeport Police vs. Central All Stars Hoop game. The police ended up winning their third consecutive game in the yearly series. That’s our own Coach Diane Nolan above with Central Girls Head Coach Steve Wolfe. The squads also got together for a post-game photo with Chief Roderick Porter.
Kudos to Officer Corey Baldwin, who led the police squad in scoring. More importantly, along with a local Connecticut State Trooper, Officer Baldwin was instrumental in talking a man out of jumping off a bridge on Interstate 95 just the day before. He was wearing his Bridgeport Field of Dreams hoop uniform while being interviewed on Channel 12!
