The Bridgeport Field of Dreams Foundation was delighted to help facilitate the acquisition of a blocking sled for the Bassick Lions football team.
Coach Derrick Lewis and his staff were delighted to finally have a sled to use as part of their practice regimen. Coach Lewis arranged pick up of the sled with Field of Dreams member John Torres. GO LIONS! Bassick High School incorporates students from the West Side of Bridgeport and Black Rock neighborhoods.
