The Bassick Indoor Track Team proudly displays a donation check of fifteen thousand dollars from the Artful Visual Arts Initiative in Ridgefield. The funds were generated by the “Kicks for Kids” program.
Sneaker sculptures, created by various local artists and displayed at Ridgefield businesses, were bid upon by the general public or purchased by the business, with the monies generated donated to the Bridgeport Field of Dreams Foundation. The donation will be shared by the track programs at Bassick, Central, and Harding High Schools.
The Bridgeport Field of Dreams Foundation wishes to extend our deepest appreciation to Dee Dee Colabella and the folks at the Initiative for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
